What is blocking your money flow?

If we struggle with money, we just think on the surface that we have a "Money issue"

However, we tend to not realize there are so many factors in what makes our money flow or become blocked. So, let's get into each section of them.

Money Beliefs

Money Beliefs are stories that we have been either conditioned to believe or have created on our own about money. Maybe you heard your parents speak their beliefs about money and it has carried into your adulthood. Or maybe the mistakes you have made on your own with money has conditioned your beliefs around it.

Here are some simple quotes you may have heard growing up:

"Money doesn't grow on trees"
"Money is the root of all evil"
"People with money are greedy, selfish and evil"
"Money doesn't make you happy"

Nod your head if you heard at least one of these - I know I have!

Let me tell you what's wrong with these stories and beliefs... everything!

Money doesn't grow on trees, but there is plenty of money in this world,

so who says that we can't gain access to it?

Money isn't the root of all evil, it may reveal someone's darkness,

but that doesn't have to be you!

That's why you create a money management plan ahead of time:

Eliminate high payments, create a plan to sustain your future, care for loved ones, & DONATE!
Eliminate high payments, create a plan to sustain your future, care for loved ones, & DONATE!

This ties right into the saying, "People with money are greedy, selfish and evil".

Give to yourself, invest into yourself, so you can sustain and gain more money,

so you can give more money - This is a shift in perspective!

Gain & Give

Money doesn't make you happy - correction!

Money misused for pleasure doesn't make you happy,

however money used for kindness, gifting & peace does make you happy.

If you spend your money on trying to create happiness by buying a bunch

of materialistic items, then money won't make you happy, because you're

using the money to create the happiness, but happiness must be found in yourself first.

It's the same as getting into relationships thinking they will make you happy.

Money holds that same energy as relationships. I'll get more into that later.

Do you see a difference?

Those are all scarcity and poor money mindsets.

However, what if you're not afraid of having money,

but you may have the fear of success, because of

what it'll do to others around you?

I'm sure you've heard the joke,

"If you ever win the lottery, be careful you'll have a cousin

pop up that you never knew existed!"

People may beg or expect you to give them money,

just because their family, friends, or friends of friends.

Just because you have money, doesn't mean everyone should

have access to your money, it will take creating healthy boundaries with them.

If you start to gain money, you may hear your family and friends

say, "Money changed you!"... here is something you must learn.

They're correct. It maybe a tough pill to swallow, but it will be true.

However, it may not mean it the way that they think.

Money can give you confidence - that is a change

Money can give you peace - that is a change

Money can give you stronger views on your life - that is a change

But ask yourself, are those bad changes?

No, not at all! Confidence, peace and stronger? Those are amazing shifts.

However, the people around you may not like those shifts,

because you're growing and they're not.

Now they don't feel as close to you.

Watch out for those that try to pull you back down to match

their level - with or without having money

If this is something you're afraid of? Ask yourself which is the worst of the two scenarios?

People being mad or upset because I'm growing and expanding in my life?

Or staying miserable, feeling stuck, being in fear all of the time and surrounded by complainers?

It's time to shift those beliefs and stories to finally benefit you,

and in turn will benefit others as well!

Money Mindset

Money Beliefs are stories we created about money,

but Money Mindset is our direct relationship with money.

For instance, do you treat your money like your relationships?

Do you go into your bank account everyday to check your balance?

The same as you text your partner, "Good morning, beautiful/handsome"

Or do you ghost it because you're afraid of what it'll say?

Do you get angry about your money situation?

Or do you give it compassion and tell yourself,

"This is just a season, and it'll get better"

If you agree that you're scared of your money situation,

it is time to invest into your money like your relationships.

I named my money, "Edmund". Edmund means "wealthy protector" in Old English Origins.

Every morning, I check in with Edmund by reviewing all of my bank & investment accounts.

I am thankful for the money he provides, and I work through the challenges.

That is a relationship - not angry at Edmund, but gentle, compassionate & forgiving.

If I make a mistake with my money, I shouldn't be angry with it,

I should view it as a lesson for my growth - the same as in a relationship.

Every time you mess up in your relationship,

do you always revert to thinking, "I'm just bad with relationships!"?

Because I know we tend to be quick to say,

"I'm just bad with money!". So, let's shift that.

I create plans with my money to see what I can do better on my end

to make this money relationship work and to be reciprocal.

What can I do on my end to stop using it so much, and allow the energy to bring more to me?

Am I using it for pleasure? Or peace?

Am I spending enough time with it to care?

Or am I avoiding it and making it feel like it doesn't matter?

If you avoid it, are you saying it's enough? Or not enough?

Then will it bring enough?

Money is energy & how we treat it matters!

Money goes where it is appreciated.

A partner will give more when they feel appreciated & it's reciprocal.

So, open up that bank account and give it gratitude!

And genuinely ask yourself, what is my relationship with money?

Money Knowledge

I learned when I was out on my own for the first time at the fresh age of 19,

I had absolutely no clue what I was doing with money!

My mother taught me how to use a check book and how to write checks,

but I knew nothing about banking, nothing about investments, nothing about

what to pay down or how to organize my bill pay.

This was before apps, and when bank statements came into the mail once a month.

I was so naive, I thought that whatever my bank statement said - that's how much was in my account. My bank statement gave me a current balance for the date it cut, and

not factoring the checks I already wrote. I may have been more clueless then

than any Gen Z to be honest lol

Now, I have developed my skills in budgeting, am more cautious and

have discovered the correct budget plan.

The bets method is paying your bills and debts like an hour glass,

such as paying your highest bills first and your smallest debts first.

Also, I learned about investment accounts, what's best to invest in

and also creating a savings that will save you in a jam!

Conclusion:

After this, now you may realize where you have struggled the most.

Whether you struggle with money beliefs, money mindset or budgeting!

But what can you do about it now?

As your Transformation Coach, I do help with this!

I offer single sessions to budget your finances correctly,

which can also narrow down pointless spending or lack of income,
